Brief:     Wayfinding review & design of external signs

Millet Place, a joint venture between Grainger and Linkcity, provides 236 mixed tenure homes.  Located close to the Thames Barrier Park, the development forms part of the significant Royal Docks regeneration project and has been designed to improve access to Thames Barrier Park for local community

The Velvet Principle was appointed to review the wayfinding strategy and design to ensure that it aligned with Grainger’s emerging corporate standard. A standard that allows for a degree of contextualisation, while remaining recognisably Grainger in its design style.

Part of the brief involved designing the external identification signs for the two apartment buildings and the external wayfinding guidance for vehicles. The design of these external signs align with the architectural style and materials palette, ensuring an integrated approach across the site.
